Description
The Beatles: "Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" on 3 and 3/4 inch per second reel-to-reel audio tape. Mono issue. I haven't been able to play it as I don't have access to a reel-to-reel tape deck but the leader tape confirms the reel as "Parlaphone ta-pmc.7027 The Beatles Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and the spool is an original E.M.I. Emitex so all appears in order. Box, insert and physical condition of reel are all excellent considering their age; please refer to the attached photographs as confirmation. This is the later plastic box "jewel case" issue - I've been watching on e-bay and the EMPTY box for the all cardboard issue is currently bid at £33.00!! Chance to own a genuine piece of Beatles Analogue history which can only appreciate in value; especially when this years 50th Anniversary fuss kicks off and the attendant publicity from Giles Martins remasters (multiple format reissues with out-takes etc. are scheduled for 26/5/17) kicks in!
