THE BEATLES - 'SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND
UK 1979 PICTURE DISC LP
This MINT & SEALED copy was a released by EMI Records in the UK in January 1979 with the catalogue number: PHO 7027
Like many of the other UK picture discs in the 1970's, the record itself was manufactured by 'Metronome' in Germany.
The die-cut sleeve was manufactured in Great Britain by 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd'.

NEAR MINT
The plastic shrinkwrapping is 100% genuine and has protected every aspect of this cover to the degree that it appears here in virtually the same condition as it did when it left the factory 30 years ago. The outer wrapping has not shrunk or distorted the cover in any way - thanks mainly to the many tiny 'breathe holes' on the front and rear panels. The front panel is vibrant & unfaded with just what appear to be two light fingernail scratches to the plastic but no other wear or damage here or to the rear. There is slight bruising to the lower corners & 1cm splits in the shrink to the lower edge near the left corner & one on the opening edge. Sealed copies of this title rarely appear and this example will not need upgrading.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
