This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl: EX. Only very light marks and dust in the grooves. A good clean and she'll be a lovely piece...As it is now the bass guitar kicks in gorgeously at the start-Instantly putting a smile on your face ;-) Just light background noise-no pops or clicks, just dust.
Flat, FLat, FLAT, oh and shiny too.
Labels: EX. Lovely and clean, there are quite a few LIGHT spindle marks but as they are so light, they are only visible when angled to the light, I have tried to show these as clearly as possible in the images.

Inner Sleeve: It is the ORIGINAL "Fools" inner: Red/white flame-like. It does have tape repairs to each seem and feathering to the opening...BUT IT IS ORIGINAL! It has done it's job in keeping this record in EX condition.
Cut-Outs: Mint-, just perfect. Nothing else needs to be said!
Cover: EX-. Only a couple of small and light indentations to the front as well as 4 small fingers from the spine to the front and 5 to the back-These are no more than 2cm long and only visible when angling the cover to the light and looking for them, just noting for the perfectionists out there.
Some very slight knocks to three of the corners.
IT STILL OPENS WITH THAT LOVELY CRACKLE-AS IF OPENED FOR THE FIRST TIME.
Excellent strong spine and UNCRUSHED.
CORRECT cover, with "MONO" to the back top right corner.
Just spotted a tiny (5mm) split to the bottom right corner.

Just a little note on grading: 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
