Very rare  1st UK MONO pressing of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Parlophone PMC 7027) with NO KT tax code, but with "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO PRICE CONDITIONS. SEE PRICE LISTS" in the center ring of the labels and "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." text in the label perimeter printing. Near mint overall condition 

complete with red "wave" inner sleeve and cutout sheet.

Disc labels: (Side 1: Near Mint (NM)); Side 2: Near Mint (NM): The LP's labels are clean and free of marks. 

There are just barely visible traces of a few light spindle lines on each side by the center hole.

Disc (vinyl): (Side 1: Near Mint (NM)); Side 2: Near Mint (NM): The heavyweight disc weighs 138 grams and is very glossy, flat and looks barely played. There are a few barely visible wispy lines on the playing surface but NO noticeable scratches or scuffs. The mono audio is clean and dynamic on both sides with occasional light static. The audio grades excellent double plus on both sides to near mint. NO skipping, NO sticking, NO jumping, NO loud pops and NO distortion.

Jacket: (Near Mint (NM)):  The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold, inner flipback sleeve is one of the finest ones we have ever seen. The front is vibrant and clean with just two barely visible laminate creases. The rear of the sleeve has NO laminate creases. The bottom and top edges are clean and straight (NO splitting) and all of the corners of the sleeve are near mint. The spine printing is clear and legible and the spine is very clean overall. The inner gatefold is stiff and looks to have been rarely opened at all.

Inner sleeve: (Excellent (EX)): The red "wave" inner sleeve is clean and in excellent condition with a strip of tape on the bottom and a piece of tape in the top corner. 

Cut-out sheet: (Mint minus (M-)): The thick cutout sheet is in mint minus condition.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype.  We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Shipping:

Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.

Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
