Beatles Sgt Pepper lp NIMBUS rarest ever MINT

Up for sale is without any doubt the rarest issue ever of the Beatles Sgt Pepper lp. Made by the famous NIMBUS label. The story about this lp is that NIMBUS made it in 1984 exclusively for readers of the UK Hi-Fi magazine "HI-FI TODAY" and was only availble via mail-order. This issue was ofcourse made in a very limited run and very quickly became a highly sought after collectors item for the serious Beatles (vinyl)fan.

Sorry about the pictures. My camera isn´t the best but I hope the pictures shown on this page will give you a clue of what to expect. No doubt that the actual item is a 100 times better looking!!!! The details :

EMI 2 box logo on Black/Silver/White label.

Cat. # PCS 7027 (STEREO)

Matrix # YEX.637/YEX.638

The matrix # is also written in the dead was as well as NIMBUS ENGLAND.

On the frontcover there´s the NIMBUS sticker with gold lettering saying; Supercut Mastered and Pressed Exclusively for Readers of HI-FI today BY Nimbus Records.

The condition of the record is MINT. There´s no wear, spindle marks or anything else.

The condition of the gatefold cover is EX/NEAR MINT. No bend corners, ring wear, tear or anything. The only reason why I haven´t graded it as MINT is because of a absolute minimum of seam-split on the top of the cover, which can easily be fixed. The spine is perfect!

The condition if the famous cut-out insert (12"x12") is also in MINT condition, with no wear at all. Perfect shape.

This lp is valued in the latest edition of the Record Collector Price Guide 2004 (page 113) at £500. And there´s no doubt that the price will increase on this monster rare issue.
