My two passions are, anything related to The Beatles both records and memorabilia and Gum cards, mainly from the 60's.

However over the years in my quest to build a top end collection I have accumulated many duplicates in both RECORDS & CARDS.

On Offer here is The Beatles "SGT PEPPERS" Black and Yellow Parlophone Mono LP-PMC 7027. This is the **VERY FIRST PRESSING** With the NO "A DAY IN THE LIFE" Credit !!!!!!!! How Rare Is That ????????

This is as ALL major Beatles Collectors know one of their HARDEST records to locate as only a small amount of these made it past quality control at EMI before the mistake was noticed and rectified.

Obviously EMI immediately recalled every one that they could, but this and a few others got through to the retailers and were sold to the public.

I am only offering this MEGA RARITY because I was offered and bought one in slightly better condition. I paid £600's for it, which just goes to show how RARE they are to come by.

If you are an avid Beatles collector like myself then this is a "MUST HAVE" for your collection. These Albums VERY, VERY rarely come up for sale on Ebay as once bought they normally stay with the collector for their lifetime. So grab your chance while you can to own this "EXTREMELY RARE RECORD" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is of course a "VERY 1st PRESSING" as is proved by the Labels having "The Gramophone Co" around the outer edge and "The SOLD In The UK" text.

The Matrix Numbers in the run out grooves are Side 1: XEX-637-1 and Side 2: XEX-638-1. With the Stamper Numbers being on Side 1: at 3 o'clock the number 4 and at 9 o'clock the letters RTG. Side 2: at 3 o'clock the number 9 and at 9 o'clock the letters NMT.

CONDITION: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side 1: The Label is in Superb Excellent condition with absolutely NO fading to be seen anywhere, the Yellow Parlophone writing is so vivid against the rich Black background. There are if held to the correct light a couple of small/light spider marks. These to NOT detract from the "Beautiful Condition" of this record. Just LOOK at the pictures.

The Vinyl is Fantastic to see and looks at least Excellent + with no scratches or goovewear, only under a very strong light can you see some hairlines, probably caused by bag rash. The Sound is as good as the Look with absolutely no CLICKS, POPS or JUMPS, or even Background noise during the quite parts of the tracks. It Truely Is That Good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side 2: The Label is in exactly the same condition, but of course is Famously missing the wording for the track "A DAY IN THE LIFE" in the listing. The Vinyl is again in fantastic to look at condition and has no CLICKS, POPS or JUMPS and just a tiny bit of crackle at the end of Lovely Rita, but I am being hyper critical here and it will NOT stop you enjoying this critically acclaimed album.

SLEEVE: Is an ORIGINAL laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold sleeve and is in "Very Nice" condition, and must Grade at least Excellent . The front is very clean and still retains it's Full Gloss and Beautiful Colour; it has no laminate cracking and just a few small edge creases mainly on the spine. The are no "Half Moons" which in itself is unusual for this cover. The corners are nice but have a little bending, though nothing too noticeable, a very nice seam and spine with no wear. The back is also in Great shape with again just a few small edge creases and a very slight "Half Moon" near the opening. On the bottom there is a tiny bit of wear . This is very small and NOT a split. The inside of the sleeve is stunning with the colours still as Vivid and Bright as the day of issue, and still has that lovely "Cracking" sound when you open a new gatefold.

The "Picture Card" is in MINT condition and the White Paper sleeve has a small split at the bottom, but this can EASILY be replaced if required.

This album is in such "Great Condition" that even with it having the track listed it would still be worth a lot of money. But this Truely is a piece of "BEATLES HISTORY". It is claimed that only a few hundred of these albums with the "MISSPRESS" got to the public. So ask yourself these questions. How many survived the "Wild Parties Of The Swinging 60's" ???? But more Importantly HOW MANY exist in this "AMAZING CONDITION" ????

                                                                                                     URGENT NOTICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has just been pointed out to me by a very helpful person named Gavin that this is NOT a "1st PRESSING" but a "2nd PRESSING" issued in the same year of 1967.

I have only known about the existence of this RARITY for about 5 years, and I ignorantly assumed that it was a "1st Pressing". However since Gavin contacted me yesterday to point out my Error I have since done some more in depth research and discovered that he was correct.

The site I checked on was the World Renowned JPGR .

I would like to point out that although a "2nd Pressing" it in "NO WAY" detracts from the RARITY of this superb album.

This as ALL major collectors WILL know is one of their HARDEST MISSPRESS albums of all to locate, and the rest of the informatin in my add is correct.

I would like to say sorry if anyone feels misslead by my earlier statement of it being a "1st PRESSING" It was a genuine mistake. But as stated this is still a "TRUE RARITY". If anyone who has placed a bid wish to withdraw it I of course FULLY understand.
