This item is a still factory sealed album by The Beatles entitled ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Record label and number is Capitol or Apple SMAS 2653. I purchased this album originally in 1971 at a record store called ‘Midtown Records’ located in Rochester, New York. The ‘C’ price code sticker affixed to the shrink wrap were the price stickers used by Midtown Records. Other Beatles albums I purchased at the same time were opened and were either the green Capitol Records label or the Apple Records label. I left this particular album sealed and never opened it. Shrink wrap is totally intact with no rips or tears (see photos). There are two small breathe holes in the shrink wrap on the front of the cover. Gatefold cover is made of cardboard and not posterboard. Bottom left corner has a very slight dent that is hardly noticeable. There is no barcode on the back of the cover. Older still sealed Beatles LP’s are skyrocketing in value and are a great addition to any Beatles collection!
