Description
THE BEATLES
1967 FIRST PRESSING - MONO
ERROR - "A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS"
NO "NEMS" OR "MACLEN" ON COVER
INCLUDES CUT-OUT SHEET
PLUS ORIGINAL PSYCHEDELIC SWIRL INNER SLEEVE
Collectible original mono release... Includes original sheet of cutouts (intact) and "psychedelic swirl" inner sleeve. It has song title incorrectly listed on label and back cover as "A Little Help From My Friends" rather than "With A Little Help From My Friends."
The vinyl has some hairline scratches resulting in minor background surface noise. The cover is in nice shape with no seam splits but had a little water damage at the bottom center that affected the inner gatefold, the back cover and the bottom of the cut-out insert (see photos).
The side 1 trail-off section has the following: MAS-1 2653-G7. The side 2 trail-off section has the following: MAS-X2 2653-F8#3.
Based on the condition descriptions below, in my opinion, the vinyl is VG to VG+, and the cover is VG+ with wear on the edges and a 1-5/16" seam split at the top edge. Visual Grading:
Near Mint (NM) Like new condition with minimal perceptible flaws
Excellent+ (EX+) Extremely nice quality with few cover or vinyl wear issues
Excellent (EX) Limited cover wear. Vinyl has limited visual or audible imperfections which do not significantly detract from listenability of the record.
Very Good+ (VG+) May include only minor seam splits, ring wear, cover wear, and/or small sticker tears. The vinyl has marks (eg. scuffs, hairline scratches) visible resulting in some background surface sound.
Very Good (VG) Some cover wear and multiple marks/wear on the vinyl. The record is most likely to have some surface sounds throughout but should be able to play without skipping or repeating.
Good (G) Cover and vinyl show definite signs of wear but sound quality is acceptable.
Fair (F) Cover and vinyl is rough with little care having been taken for the LP.
