1976 "Country Flag" OBI / EAS re-issue series of the Beatles Japanese LP catalogue. Issue n° 9 in the series. Uses a UK master as identified by matrix stamp
Superb copy of this 1976 Japanese release of one of the most iconic albums of all time in superb condition; outstanding audio with clear stereo separation and clarity - as would be expected from a Japanese pressing. Includes Sgt Pepper cut-out and Japanese/ English bio-lyric sheet inserts both in Ex condition. Vinyl retains its original glossy sheen, nice bright, clean and shiny. Lovely condition, you will not be disappointed.
Sleeve: Thick cardboard gatefold sleeve. Fully readable spine, all edges true and square - light scuffing on top outside edges from shelf use overall light signs of handling no rips, splits, tears or writing, couple of small age stains on top front cover (see photos) graded EX-
Comes with lyric sheet and Sgt Pepper cut-out sheet both EX
Comes with black inner as well as anti-static inner sleeve
Labels: Lighter green Apple label. Light usage only graded EX
Vinyl: Nice bright and clean, vinyl retains its original lovely sheen - couple of light wispy hairlines from sleeve removal, feint lines only visible under light solid EX minimum more EX+
Audio: Lovely clear audio, no hisses, hops, skips, sticks, pips or pops. Plays through clean, nothing that interferes with listening in any way - overall graded EX+

I am a collector for 45+ years the few records I sell are either the results of upgrades, duplicates or a bit of thinning every now and again. I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
