"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles. This is a very rare label and cover variation on the Capitol Rainbow Label MAS-2653 MONO issued in early 1968. This issue has the error label showing "A Little Help From My Friends" as the first track on side 1. The following is a quote from renown Beatles expert Bruce Spizer from his wonderful book, "The Beatles Swan Song". "Because MONO was being phased out in 1967, MONO corrected labels are much less common that stereo revised labels". In addition, the record is housed in the very rare ALL RIGHTS cover with the "1967 NEMS--NEMS ENTERPRISES LIMITED" printed vertically near the spine on the back cover. This is an L.A. pressing with an * found in the dead wax. Included is the insert and original inner sleeve This record has been fully play-graded VG sound and surface. With some general background noise an enjoyable play copy of this rarity! Labels: VG++ Cover: VG to VG+ Seams are not split and there is a promotional punch hole in the top right corner, inside the gatefold is a red ink written name on the top right, also has a small slight 1" slightly yellowing stain in the top left corner, and spine is nice and legible! edges are pretty much in tact with only a tiny few areas of tiny paper loss. Over all light rubwear on front and back. SEE PHOTOS! Inner Sleeve: Good+ seam splits but original sleeve! NOT MINT BUT A NICE ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!
