 This item is a 1st press album released in 1967 on Capitol Records by The Beatles entitled ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Record label and number is Capitol Records SMAS-2653. Record itself is in excellent condition and looks as if it might have been played a couple of times. Record was professionally cleaned on a Nittty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Gatefold cover is also in excellent condition with just some very light wear and a slightly creased corner at the lower right corner. The back of the gatefold cover shows hardly any wear which is very difficult to find on this particular album. Album comes complete with Sgt. Pepper’s cut outs and psychedelic paper inner sleeve (see photos). See photos for song listings. A great example of this classic Beatles album and one of the nicest copies of this album that I’ve seen in a long time! In amazing condition for being 50 years old!
