Original UK yellow & black Parlophone label mono 1st press.

This early mono 1st pressing has the cut out sheet, the red Fool inner and the 'Sold In.U.K.....' label text error, with the 'The Gramophone Co Ltd...' label text and the 'KT' tax code stamp on the label and the XEX-637-1 XEX-638-1 matrices of the 1st presses (see the Beatles Collection website for more details!).
  The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing and a couple of small creases on the front cover and small areas of lift along the spine of the rear cover. The wide spine is intact and fully readable but there is some crushing/lifting along the lower part of the inner cover. The red Fool inner is in VG+ condition and the Sgt Pepper's cut out sheet is also intact in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines & one or two small needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves. Overall a really great, loud and clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; XEX-637-1 stamper 3-ATA, XEX-638-1 stamper 7-MRT. This is one of the later 1967 pressings of the original UK mono 1st issue of this album.

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
