Description
Sgt Peppers - Beatles, UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording)
ORIGINAL OWNER - STILL SEALED, NEVER OPENED, NEVER PLAYED
The ultimate in listening to the Beatles Sgt Peppers album. This LP is 1 of only 5000 ever made. These albums were made in the early 80's and are packaged as follows:
- The album is in a sleeve (possibly tyvec, if they had it back then)
- The sleeve is in an cardboard cover like a regular album
- The cover is in between 2 layers of foam
- Then all is in the hard-cover box.
There is no way to know the serial # of the album as it is only on the inside of the sealed packaging.
Included is the album, a Mobile Fidelity Certificate of Authenticity and a Technical Specifications manual explaining why the UHQR's were so special, way ahead of their time.
The pressing was done from the Beatles original master tapes and the stampers limited to the 5000 records and that was it, so the quality on every one of them is awesome.
There is a slight tear in the celophane as shown in the picture, and the corner I show is the most damage on the item, very slight wear on the one corner, visible only if you look for it.
I will take some pictures of my personal opened copy of this album and get them posted, but obviously you can't see what's in this box since it won't be opened before you receive it.
Own a great sounding piece of the Beatles legacy, NO RESERVE, happy bidding.
