Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair with some light spindle trails around each centre hole, mostly on side 2.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which appear factory-fresh & totally unmarked at first glance in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk reveals just a single tiny 2mm hairline scratch on side 1 and a few harmless wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this great looking disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This fine sounding copy has received minimal, careful play on high-end equipment and as a result the sound quality is clean, warm & unworn throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected absolutely no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or either channel - even on the easily worn 'She's Leaving Home'. In fact, the only factor preventing a higher grade were some light repeating ticks at the end of 'Fixing A Hole' which run into the introduction to 'She's Leaving Home'. However, the album overal is a joy to listen to and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine example of this iconic cover has been carefully stored and barely touched over the past 45 years.
The front panel is perfectly clean with just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle but no storage rubbing, ringwear or any other trace of wear. There is a small bruise to the upper right and a few tiny 'pushes' to the rear opening edge but no tear or feathering anywhere. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front, also with just a single 'thumbnails' and and extremely faint disc impression.
Both panels of the inside are clean & unmarked.
All seams are unsplit and the spine is clean, white & fully laminated along its entire length with a perfect unworn text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Perfectly clean all-over with no yellowing, creasing or even a single seam split.
Cut-out sheet: MINT
