Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both centre holes of this amazing pair are completely unworn and free from any spindle marks. Held back from fromn a higher grage due only to some silver print fingermarks on label 2 which were obviously made during manufacture.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surface are extremely clean & unblemished and are, apart from a 5mm light scratch on side 2, unmarked in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and some insignificant wispy paper hairlines. This is an unusually heavy copy which lies 100% flat when playing on the turntable and is free from any dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has clearly been barely, if ever played and all tracks played without any trace of groove/playwear distortion during my careful play-check at volume. On side 1, I did find a single tick on the introduction to 'Lucy In The Sky...' and a few faint ticks during an otherwise unworn 'She's Leaving Home'. The only significant blemish on side 2 were some repeating light clicks during the first half of 'When I'm 64' due to the aformentioned scratch, but apart from that, there is little else to fault soundwise on this very enjoyable copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
An very respectable example which displays a vibrant, unfaded front panel with just a handful of 'thumbnail' and spine wrinkles but no heavy creasing or wear. There is a small bruise to the upper left corner and slight shelfwear to the lower but no splits to any. The opening edges of the front pocket have slight wear but both of the rear pocket appear untouched. The rear panel is perfectly clean with just a single tiny 'thumbnail' but no evidence of any disc impression or storagewear. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and with no missing paper to the flipback edges. There is a small 1.5cm stress to the lower seam of the front pocket but all other are smooth and undamaged. The spine is clean but does have some missing laminate, however all the wording is present and highly readable.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
A clean & flat example with a light disc impression & faint storage wrinkling but no writing, splits or tears.
Cut-out Sheet
EXCELLENT +
