This superb sounding 1969 UK stereo pressing utilizes the same stampers as the 1967 pressing.

Both side of the disc bear '1-EMI box' Parlophone labels: PCS 7027


Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1

Stamper codes: 3/AGD & 1/RDO

Vinyl weight: 134g


Housed in a rare fully laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold with both mono AND stereo catalogue numbers on the rear.

Complete with unused cut-out sheet original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

 An exceptional set with just a single small spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual/Audio: EXCELLENT +

Clean, deep-gloss plying surfaces bearing only a few harmless light hairlines on side 2 beneath halogen light.
Clean, warm & unworn sound quality throughout with just a little low-level vinyl background on some of the quieter passages but no clicks, pops or other such distractions.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A respectable example of this rare cover variant with a sparkling high-gloss laminate front and rear panels, which bear minor storagewear only.
There is a small bend the to the lower right corner and minor wear to opening edges consistent with use.
The inside of the gatefold is bright & glossy with a little of the usual wear to the edges of the flipovers.
All seams & the spine are unstressed & undamaged.
