1969 UK ONE EMI BOX *MONO** PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT & APPLE PROMO POSTER**
One of only three mono issues on the 'One EMI Box' label in late 1969, this is the rarest and arguably the best sounding 1960's mono pressing.
This copy includes its original 'Apple' catalogue advertising poster which was inserted into most Beatles/Apple product at this time.
This extremely rare NEAR MINT 1969 MONO pressing is on the UK black & silver 'One EMI Box' label: PMC 7027
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated, internal 'flipback' mono 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover.
Complete with original plain white 'Patent Nos..' inner sleeve, Apple poster and cut-out sheet.

Stamper numbers: 2/MPG & 1,9/MOL

No spindle marks at all, both labels are 'as new'.

This disc has clearly been played just a few times and both surfaces are pristine, bright and clean.
Careful inspection under a halogen desk lamp reveals just one tiny (6mm) surface mark on side 1 and a few hardly visible sleeve removal hairlines.
There are no other marks and no scratches anywhere.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This disc plays and sounds 'as new'.
The sound throughout is warm and clear without any trace of groovewear distortion or crackle on any track, in either channel.
Both 'run-ins' are silent and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Hard to find a better looking or sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Strong, clean and bright bearing just light handling and storage wear only.
The front laminate is bright and unscratched and displays just a single small 'thumbnail'and a few light edge wrinkles.
There is a 'bump' to the lower left corner causing a small section of laminate lift, but the others have just light shelfwear.
All opening edges, inside and out, are sharp and clean with no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is clean and glossy with just a few spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any other creases.
The inside of the gatefold is in super shape with no creases, writing or marks.
The unusual 'thin' (not squashed) spine retains its full laminate and all wording is perfect and undamaged.
All the seams are strong, unstressed and unsplit.
