THE BEATLES - 'SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
Here is a truly exceptional example of their psychedelic masterpiece which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year.
This UNPLAYED earliest 1st UK MONO pressing dates from the day of release on June 1st 1967.
It is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7027
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1
Stamper codes: 1/OG & 4/AM
Vinyl weight: 165g
The disc is housed in an immaculate fully laminated, inner-flipover gatefold mono cover with 8mm square/wide-spine.
Complete with its original red/white design inner-sleeve & unused cut-out sheet.

Both are flawless with no spindle trails or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Although it is impossible to grade a 50 year old LP as MINT, this is as close as you will ever find to that elusive grade. Both playing surfaces are flawless & factory-fresh with nothing more than a few extremely faint unavoidable paper hairlines visible beneath halogen light. You will not find a better disc.
Sound Quality: MINT
UNPLAYED by its original owner this is simply the finest sounding example we have ever had the pleasure to listen to.
The audio on every track is flawless with no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle or break-up - even on the most delicate passages.
It simply delivers on every level and will not disappoint even the most critical ear.
Cover: NEAR MINT
Only the earliest covers for this album had the square 8mm wide spine. This design was quickly abandoned and a thinner spine was introduced.
This museum-quality example looks like it left the shops yesterday and is as close to 'as new' as you will hope ever find.
The iconic front panel is pristine with no fading, scratching, ringwear or any 'thumbnail' wrinkles.
The spine is perfectly straight and unbent without a single wrinkle along its entire length.
All corners are square and unbumped with just the slightest touch of shelfwear to the extreme tips.
The opening edges are razor-sharp and free from any tears or feathering.
The only trace of wear on the entire cover are a few tiny marks along the rear opening edge.
Both upper & lower seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
The spine edges are uncrushed with no cracked or missing lamination front or rear.
This is your final upgrade.
