Superb 1967 very 1st pressing - vinyl in beautiful condition.

The fully laminated gatefold sleeve with internal flip backs is in very sound and solid condition, only let down by some discolouring and rubbing on the spine. Otherwise it is very clean and bright inside and out. Even taking the spine into account it remains a VG+ sleeve.

The original inner has done its job well over the years but has a clean split on each side but a generally bright copy with no tears.

The original insert looks untouched.

The vinyl is a beauty. The surface retains a lovely sheen - a real heavyweight 60’s piece of vinyl - and on first inspection look flawless. Under bright light there are some light hairlines but nothing more visible or significant. The labels are bright and fresh and, while there are some spindle traces, these are not heavy and it retains the impression of a very well looked after, not heavily played, record. THE PLAYBACK IS EXCEPTIONAL! I don’t have a particularly high end player but when there’s interference I hear it. There is a tiny bit of background during the intro of the title track but then - nothing throughout. A beautifully dynamic Mono audio. Incredible clarity.

All 1st press attributes are in place. The embossed K T code straddles the aperture, unusually, on side 1 rather than side 2, and it states ‘The Gramophone Co.’ in the rim text with ‘Sold in the U.K subject to Resale Price Conditions’ across the centre and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ at the bottom. The matrix codes both end in -1 and the sleeve has the internal flip backs and is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse. As mentioned, original inner sleeve and insert both present so the full package in wonderful condition!
