The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PMC 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original custom psychedelic inner sleeve. This has the "Patents Applied For" text. It also comes with the card "cut-out" insert.
The record has black & yellow "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are: XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1. The mother stampers are AOL 2 and AAL 3. A genuine UK 1st Mono pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild rubbing wear at the corner tips. There is some mild ringwear too. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of light marks too. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. Plays VG+ to near excellent. Some light crackle in some of the quieter passages.
The Psychedelic Inner Sleeve has a 3" tear at the opening on one side. Also, a small 2 cm tear nearby on one side. There is a 6" seam split at the bottom too. It is in VG- condition overall. The card insert is in VG++ condition. There are some very light creases & fading.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
