The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PMC 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks. It comes with its original psychedelic paper inner sleeve. It also comes with the card "cut-out" insert.
The record has 1st press XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are RGD 3 & GOL 2. It has black & yellow Parlophone labels which have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold In The UK..." texts. "KT" is also stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1.
Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild rubbing wear & mild ringwear. VG condition.
Vinyl: Moderate sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light, and some light marks. Good condition. The labels are clean but show moderate spindle wear. I have played this LP completely. It plays well overall. There is light crackle in the quieter places. The psychedelic insert has a seam split down one whole side & some of the bottom. Otherwise fine. The card insert is in excellent condition. I shall place the vinyl in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the original inner from any further wear.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
