Description

On offer is a very rare item of the most important band of the sixties and pop music in general,with their most important Lp,"Sgt.Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club Band",which was released in 1967,one of the most important years in the history of pop music.This is a very rare MONO issue and it`s a first pressing with black/yellow label,"Sold in the U.K..."and"the Gramophone.." text and matrix numbers XEX 637-1/638/-1 as well the stampers PMR and RL0."K/T"sign at the spindle hole,which has light marks just on side2.The vinyl is visually in a excellent condition(ex),with slightly hairlines but nothing serious.I had cleaned it on a V.P.I. record cleaning machine.Record plays without crackeling(except on some very quiet passages),clicks,pops or jumping,so I can give a good excellent too(ex).The labels are both clean and the vinyl has it´s natural gloss,all together the whole record presents a excellent condition.The laminated inner flipback gatefold cover has the rare "WIDE SPINE",which shows that this item is a very early first pressing.The corners are fresh,a little creasing of lamination on cover front&back otherwise it´s o.k.,no writing,seamsplit or tear.excellent- condition(ex) for the cover.The orig.dark green insert is in mint condition.The original psych innersleeve is clean and without seamsplit.Result:A used but carefully handled original record in collectable and audible condition,a relic of music history..........
