Description

In this auction is a RARE ONE from my own collection. Here are the details:

 

·        “SHE LOVES YOU” b/w “I’LL GET YOU” by The Beatles 

·       This is Swan Records S-4152.

·       This record was issued in 1964. 

·       This pressing has glossy white labels with thin blue print.

·       The words “DON’T DROP OUT” appear on the label.

·       There are NO quotation marks around the song titles.

·       “MASTERING RECO-ART PHILA.” is pressed in the matrix (trail-off) on the A-Side.  

·       “Gil Music Corp. BMI” appears on two lines on the A side label.

·       “Produced by George Martin” is printed on the labels.

·       This record was issued by RCA.

·       The VINYL is in NICE VG CONDITION. There are numerous light/surface hairlines/scuffs, but none of them are “feel-able”. The vinyl has lots of gloss.

·       The WHITE LABELS are QUITE CLEAN and have NO writing, NO stains or soiling and NO tears  

·       Here is an early U.S. pressing of this trademark Beatles hit, “She Loves You”, on the SWAN RECORDS LABEL (which did not sell well initially)

·       This record is significant! It’s one of the BEATLES’ EARLY SINGLES that helped make them known in the U.S. market and it has WHITE SWAN LABELS WITH  BLUE PRINT (an uncommon and hard-to-find issue).
