I know there is some potential bidder out there who needs and has been looking for this item! This is the picture sleeve (or picture cover) ONLY (NO RECORD) to the Beatles’ “Something New” Compact 33 EP (also referred to as a jukebox EP). This Compact 33 was issued in October of 1964 and is Capitol Records SXA 2108. This PROMOTIONAL COMPACT 33 PICTURE SLEEVE/COVER is for a 7-inch PROMOTIONAL RECORD that was released by Capitol Records for jukebox play only to promote the Beatles “Something New” LP. So, it was never made available to the general public for purchase. As you can see this picture cover is a 7-inch version of the LP cover. The rear cover is blank. The Compact 33 record (not included in this auction) that went in this sleeve had 6 songs on it (3 on each side) to promote the Beatles’ “Something New” LP. This is a CARDBOARD SLEEVE COVER, not paper!  IF YOU’VE GOT THE COMPACT 33 “SOMETHING NEW” 7-INCH RECORD BUT DO NOT HAVE THE PICTURE COVER/SLEEVE, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO ADD TO THE VALUE OF YOUR RECORD BY BEING THE HIGH BIDDER AND ADDING ITS MATCHING PICTURE SLEEVE/COVER!!! The Beatles Compact 33’s are among their most highly desired promotional records/covers due to their rarity. Only 3 Compact 33 Records/Covers were released by Capitol Records for jukebox play containing songs on them to promote 3 Beatles LPs: “Meet the Beatles”, “The Beatles Second Album”, and “Something New” with “Something New” being the rarest of the 3. So if you’ve got the record, I’ve got the cover for it! This PICTURE CARDBOARD PICTURE COVER is GRADED in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. As you can see in the image, there is hardly any wear. There is a slight corner push at the bottom left corner and slight wear on the top edge. There is a circular impression (NOT ring wear) that does not detract from the image.The white rear cover is nice and clean and shows just normal aging. It’s a wonderful item for YOUR Beatles or vinyl collection.
