Description
This is Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles (catalog number VJ 1092), released by Vee-Jay Records in October 1964. This comes with a mismatched EMI inner sleeve that must have been swapped in at some point during it's life.
This release is famous in the vinyl community for being a repackaging. Vee-Jay took surplus copies of their earlier album, Introducing... The Beatles (VJLP 1062), and slipped them into this new, 3/4-flap gatefold jacket. This is why the cover says VJ 1092, but the record labels read VJLP 1062.
This is a later 1964 pressing, not a first press.
Introducing... The Beatles is notoriously one of the most heavily counterfeited records in history, but this copy has several distinct markers proving it is an authentic pressing:

Version 2 Tracklist: It features the songs "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me" rather than "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" (which were on the initial Version 1 pressings).

Runout Matrix: The etching △ 6307 (the delta symbol) in the deadwax indicates this record was pressed by the Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in California. Counterfeits very rarely reproduce this delta stamp.

Label Layout: It features the flat black label with silver print and the block "VJ" logo. Both "INTRODUCING the BEATLES" and "THE BEATLES" are printed above the center spindle hole, which is the correct and verified layout for this specific Monarch variation.
