Comments: Here's yet another rare Beatles LP. A near mint minus copy of The Beatles Strawberry Fields Forever LP released in the UK. To tell you the truth i've never seen this LP as a promo. So i'm going to be as discriptive as possible here so you can be the judge. First off if your familar with this LP you'll notice this is not the original cover artwork. In fact the artwork here is a Xerox saying Strawberry Fields Forever Promotion Copy Not For Sale. In the corner it says a ruff and ready reissue. It came with a clear plastic sleeve and will stay with it. It's slightly wrinkled leading me to believe the sleeve might not have always been with it.The back cover is completely blank. The LP looks almost unplayed and rates a near mint minus. It's on the red NEMS label. In the run off is clue-9A and clue-9B for side 1 and 2. This is the serial numberof the NEMS release. By all accounts The Strawberry Fields Forever IS a bootleg of Beatles outtakes, TV appearences etc etc. However I have NEVER known this LP to a promo. This could be extremely rare
