Beatles “Savage Young Beatles” GENUINE COPY Still Sealed

The Seal---Originally issued in a loosely-fitting baggie rather than shrinkwrapped, the baggie is still 100% sealed, NO breaches.

RIAA---None.

NOTE: Counterfeit copies of this LP are very easily spotted.  Only issued legitimately in MONO, counterfeit covers have the word, “STEREO” in red letters under the Savage logo at the top right corner of the cover.  This copy is 100% the real deal.

Cover---Any serious collector who has tried to get one of these in as near mint condition as possible will tell you that it isn’t very possible.  The covers were manufactured with highly recycled cardboard, making them subject to splitting mostly or completely all the way down.  Most covers have enough grime and dust to come off onto your hands upon handling.  Also susceptible to mildewing easily, these covers tend to warp with moisture, and can even stink.  You would be hard-pressed to find a VG+ copy with only a few of these issues!

This copy does have one or two of those issues.  The top center seam has a minor tear in the slick, but the seam is not split from it.  Not even almost.  The spine has cracked slick, and it does have a split in the center just over two inches long.  Rats.

Aside from that, this cover is the brightest, cleanest yellow that you will EVER come across.  In 44 years of collecting, this is the only sealed copy I’ve ever seen or heard of for tens of thousands of miles around.  They don’t exist sealed.  Front and back covers are completely clean of any ringwear, dirtwear, stickers, writing, even fingerprints.

As with any sealed album, I would not by any means, guarantee which pressing is inside.  The only way to do that is to open it, which you can do if you want, but I sure won’t. 

If I were to venture a guess, I would say that this is without a doubt, a first (and only) pressing from 1966, of this rare title.
