DESCRIPTION: Beatles LP- The White Album. Numbered STEREO TOPLOADER. Number No.0517471. In embossed gatefold sleeve with poster and 4 prints. In correct original black die cut paper inners. All labels have "sold in Uk text". Disc 1 -Sides 1 and 2 have "An EMi Recording". Disc 2 - sides 3 and 4 have only "Mfd in UK", no "EMI " text. This apparently only occured on the earliest pressings but saying that its only supposed to be found on low numbered copies so maybe its just more ebay sellers bullshit!! You can do your own research and decide!. Matrix numbers are YEX 709-1/710-1/711-1/712-1. Vinyl came to me in anti-static inners so ill send it to you in them seperate from the black inners. Stampers are 3TT/4HR/5GDT/4GDO. The 4's may actually be arrow like shapes its hard to tell whether they are fully formed number 4s. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Apple PCS7067/8 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+/EX+. I paid a very decent price for 2 almost identical copies of this a good few years ago. This is one of them- Im selling it simply to raise money to buy other records im after at the minute. I had never taken the cover out of the thick PVC sleeve until i took the photos for the listing. The vinyls were in MFSL antistatic sleeves when i got the Lp and I will send them to the winning bidder as well. Ive played it probably 4 times since i got it (including today). Vinyls are all immaculately clean with a fantastic deep dark sheen. I have now played both discs in there entirety on my Pro-ject deck at a decent volume. Sounds excellent, clear and loud throughout, has a very occasional soft static tick but this is the first time ive played it in years. Cover is firm and square with amazing shape and actually has absolutely minimal edgewear, cornerwear and negligable creasing. The spine is still fully ledgible- I dont think i had noticed there was writing on the psnine until I got this copy!! Black inners are the best I have ever seen, light creasing only, NO SPLITS and believe it or not- NO FEATHERING to the opening edges!!! . Poster is also EX with light wear and light creasing only. NO SPOTTING or yellowing, very clean. Has never been hung as a poster, still very white and clean. Prints are EX or better with minimal wear. The Lennon one has a short scratch across it. Labels are immaculate, no wear, no spindle marks. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears anywhere on the Lp or extras. . This is a beautiful very early UK pressing of one of the best LPs ever. The condition is just amazing. The photos probably dont do it justice due to Northern Englands lack of light and my crappy camera skills. There ive put it away again now, back where it should be, it makes me nervous handling something this old and beautiful. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
