DESCRIPTION: Beatles LP- The White Album. STEREO. 1ST SOUTH EAST ASIA PRESSING with matrix YEX 709-1/710-1/711-1/712-1. Heavyweight vinyls weighing in at 178 and 160 grammes. Numbered 0568538. TOPLOADER. In embossed numbered gatefold sleeve with visible flaps inside. Cover states it was printed and made in England by G&L International Ltd.. In original die-cut black inners. It took me bloody hours to trace these labels to a S.E Asia pressing. There was no poster or photos with this. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Apple PCS7067/8 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: SOUTH EAST ASIA. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+/G+. Vinyls are all clean with a nice sheen and just the odd hairline/brushing line. Played passages on my Pro-ject deck today. Sounds pretty much EXCELLENT , music is loud, prominent and clear. Cover is firm and square with decent shape and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and near moderate creasing .Some browning to sleeve hence low grade. Black inners are in much better condition than usual- 1 has no tears and splits the other has a small tear around hole for label and a 1" split top cntre bottom edge- these are often falling to bits , especially with the heavy vinyl. Clean labels. No rips, writing stickers or sticker tears. Nice sounding copy. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BEATLES/RELATED and CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP.. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
