Hello and welcome to my second Beatles vinyl auction. Today I am selling volumes 1-4 of The Beatles Ultra Rare Trax, the bootleg series that I imported in the late eighties, which is when these discs were pressed.
These tracks are early/alternate takes The Beatles made at Abbey Road and are similar to what was released in the Anthology series. There are actually 8 volumes in the series but I only have the first four. I did have the final four on order but it all fell through much to my disappointment at the time, so I never bothered with them after that!!
These discs are in excellent order, a recent play through confirmed there to be no scratches or skips. Each one is on very colourful vinyl and each track listing has detailed info (see below pics). I'm unsure who helped themself to these tracks from Abbey Road but it was most assuredly an insider. The tracks are much rawer, less polished than the Anthology ones but do come alive on vinyl. These discs are a must have for any Beatle fan.
The start price is only $15 per record and I won't be splitting them up for individual sale.
So on with the big pics, these are the actual covers and discs...
These are seriously good records to have for anyone vaguely interested in the Fabs, a really good insight into how they worked and put their songs together.
Good luck and happy bidding.
