Description
This is the first pressing of this EP. It was pressed on a green Parlophone label for a very short time. All the black label pressings are second and third etc pressings. The only reason this record has been listed is the collector demand for this rare label.
The number of different Beatles EP's provides proof of their productivity over a brief four year period of 1964 to 1968. It also shows EMI through Parlophone made the most of their recording output by releasing the same song on single, EP and LP on a number of occasions. Australia for the most part followed the UK with similar EP releases. There were some exceptions and they are collected the world over as well as in Australia. Wherever possible the earliest pressing in my collection has been listed for sale. First pressings hold the most collector interest and value, even in lesser condition than a reissue. Postage cost is dependant on weight. Within Australia postage is $2.50 for one single or CD and $3.50 for two singles or 2CD's and $9 for one LP and $13 for two LP's. Double CD's count as two CD's and double LP's count as two LP's. Box sets depend on how many LPs and the total weight.
