Because of its enourmous and unforeseen success, EMI had to ask competitor DECCA to press a small quantity of "With the Beatles" for them. These rarities can be distinguished by the deep ridge on their labels. Here is an outstanding example for sale - from my very own collection!
Condition:
The original flipback cover made by Garrod & Lofthouse is in EXCELLENT - condition. Interestingly, it is one of the rare versions on which the song title "You really got a hold on me" was corrected! The majority of the early covers has this song listed wrongly as "gotta hold...".
The LP is simply in fantastic EXCELLENT ++ condition! There are minimal, hardly visible marks only which are not feelable! Really outstanding for this early pressing! This LP was honestly the result of several upgrades in my very own collection, therefore I always got a better and better one until I had this one which will please even the critical collector!
Important and stunning addition: The original early-style polylined(!) "Use Emitex" inner sleeve in great EXCELLENT condition! These are normally totally destroyed!
