The BEATLES. “A Hard Day’s Night” United Artists Soundtrack. Original release of this iconic album cover, 20 years before it became a Capitol reissue! From USA, sold millions, Summer 1964, The absolute height of Beatlemania!! This has 8 Beatles tracks plus 4 George Martin Orchestra instrumentals, of which Ringo’s Theme was a huge hit!! This one in Mono. The Beatles preferred Mono at this time! And the music, still produced by George Martin, was fantastic. The album went to Number One for weeks. And the movie.....still a classic 55 years later. It’s a perfect snapshot of what their lives must have been like from May 1963 to September 1964 (the end of ‘64 touring). Nothing like it ever!! 8 songs, 2 Number One Hits, 2 classic ballads, and 4 other L-M songs that have been covered by others in the years since then. Vinyl condition is Goldmine EX. My highest grade, shiny, clean, really great, played lots, lovingly, by a 12 year old me!! Yep, my original copy. And the labels are EX also, no writing. It is STILL one of the most interesting covers for an album in the world. And the vinyl looks great, mostly shiny, a few light scuffs. Several incredible tracks. They sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the boys as they jump into your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This one was hard to price. Dozens of US US versions of this LP on eBay today. The originals had black labels and titled “I’ll cry instead” as “I cry instead” (John sang it both ways in the song). Up to $100.
