A promo rep. demo single was normally be issued to promote a single via radio. In the case of the Penny Lane single (1967 released as a double A-sided disc b/w Strawberry Fields Forever), the promo single issued in the US and Canada, contained an earlier mono mix of the song. The mix (known as mix RM11) was different to the commercial release. It featured a trumpet overdub over the ending of the song that was shaved off of later mixes, including the mix heard on the commercial single and the Magical Mystery Tour EP set in the UK and LP in the US.

The condition of the vinyl is exciting: No scratches or something else. A few light and very very thin marks can be seen under a bright light. The glossy shine gives this single an outstanding beauty and has survived 45 years. Also the label. There are no damages or writings. A wonderful piece of the Beatles history and a wonderful piece for a collector´s Beatles collection.
