Description
The Beatles "Beatles VI" very rare mono LP Capitol T-2358...in overall VG+ to Excellent condition. Comes complete with the original "gold and silver" inner sleeve in near mint condition. This is for the collector who appreciates rare label variants as this one has the first song on each side above the spindlehole (on both sides..."Kansas City" on Side 1 and "What You're Doing" on Side 2). I believe this was discovered roughly 3 years ago. The solid VG+ cover is the correct one for this rare label variation having the "See label for corrrect playing order" above the song titles on the back, and the #6 pressing plant information (Los Angeles). The cover is Spizer-cataloged as CAP 2358.MC1 and has no seamsplits or tears (it does have a small name on the back of the cover (bottom left) that says "Joe Gwartney" in script). The matching, solid VG+ record is not documented in Bruce Spizer's book so I have no catalog number to share. But the deadwax does contain the L.A. * (star or asterisk), and the "1" on the label has the "serif" opposed to being simply "stick" style. Again, this is one of the seriously difficult variations to find. U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed USPS priority shipping (double-boxed media is available upon request at $3.00). International buyer please inquire for shipping cost. Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer. Please email me with any questions.
