Description
THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES VI'
This scarce pressing of their 6th US Capitol album was pressed in the UK for EXPORT only in 1966 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: CPCS 104
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but include 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
This disc contains the original U.S. mixes.
Matrix numbers: YEEX 112-A15 & YEEX 113-A15
The original U.S. matrix 'ST2 2451' is present, but scratched out, in the side 2 run-out.
Stamper codes: 1/O & 1/O
Disc weight: 147g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'Patents Pending' cover.
Complete with an original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: NEAR MINT
Both labels are perfectly clean & unblemished with totally unworn centre holes. There are two or three faint spindle trails around the side two hole but nothing on 1.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, clean & glossy playing surfaces which are MINT and totally unmarked in both strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a handful of harmless wispy hairlines on side 2 only and a sparkling rainbow shine to both. Both sides of this spectacular copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely, if every, played and the sound quality throughout is flawless and 'as new'. My careful play-check at volume detected a hint of light vinyl background between tracks but certainly no groove/play wear, clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A vibrant & strong example which retains a clean, high-gloss front laminate displaying just two 'thumbnail' wrinkles but no further significant signs of wear. All corners are clean & sharp and free from any bumps or bruising. There is an almost invisible 5mm nick to the opening edges but no other signs of wear there. As you can see, there is some foxing (age spots) to the rear panel but it is otherwise free from any writing or missing paper. Both of the seams are smooth and unstressed and the fully worded spine is in perfect unworn condition.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
Aside from some similar age-related blemishes, this is clean & flat without any seam splits, writing or tears.
