Beatles WHITE ALBUM 1968 Apple SWBO 101 1st pressing - later printing US
This is from the collection of the late Ned Brooks, who assembled an album collection and, often, never listened to the albums. (He wasn’t a Beatles fan.)This is copy # 2937511.
The photo insert indicates a 1968 date. The discs have the Capitol Records logo (as shown).
The 2-album set comes complete with a fold-out sheet,and four litho portraits of The Beatles.
** From what I can tell, this is the first edition, subsequent printing; it’s numbered, and as marked on the inner ring of the discs, issued with the release number of SWBO-101, as shown. **
CONDITION NOTES:
1. The albums were not played. They are in mint condition.
2. The sleeves, made of acidic paper, shows signs of browning. (This is to be expected with what was, back then, considered a throwaway consumable: teenage fans listened to the music, and didn’t consider them collectible.) There is a one-inch tear on one of the sleeves, from the opening. No splitting.
3. The printed insert shows minor signs of wear at the creases, which is to be expected. 4. The album jacket shows very minor signs of wear; a circular sticker was applied by the previous owner, who did so to catalog his entire collection. There is a small, circular, round residue on the upper left corner of the FRONT of the jacket.
5. Overall, the condition is very good. (Check out the photos carefully, please.)
