- The Beatles - "THE BEATLES (WHITE ALBUM)" Capitol Records –SWBO-101,
Originally issued in 1968, this is the 1978 Purple label "MFD" pressing reissue. This is a Jacksonville pressing and there are two variations to be found for this pressing. This one has "THE BEATLES" on the labels in a smaller print and the song titles are NOT center justified. There are other versions that have the titles centers and "THE BEATLES" in large, bold print. The 4 Portraits in this issue were in a perforated poster that could be separated. Includes the standard large two-sided poster as well. They are Both NEAR MINT.
PLEASE NOTE: An interesting note about the cover on this issue is that it is NOT White in the traditional sense. It appears that some issues from this run in 1978 were made with an off-color that almost has a marble-like looking finish that looks discolored. It is not. That's the way this issue came! Cover is EX Cover in original shrink, although it is split a bit on the corner.
