Here's an original Australian MONO pressing of The Beatles White Album 2LP, issued in 1968

 

A truly elusive find amongst Beatles audiophiles and collectors

Release right at the end of the Mono recordings era, very few of these exist as just a few thousand Mono copies were pressed in Australia

This is a pretty low number being A 38565

The Top-Opening Gatefold Sleeve has the MONO sticker on the top right corner of the rear

Complete with all the original inners,

has the 4 photos, large fold-open 'censored' poster & the 2 black inner Sleeves

A very elusive ORIGINAL Mono issue, don't miss

 

Original Australian 2LP pressing from 1968 on the Apple label, catalogue no's PMCO-7067 & PMCO-7068

 

CONDITION

VINYL:  G / G- / G / G

Sides 1, 3 & 4 are G they have many many hairline marks, Side 2 is VG- has 4 heavier marks which do not affect play,

plays through OK with some surface noise

LABELS:  EX+ to Near MINT 

The 4 Labels are all in Superb EX+ to Near MINT condition with NO writing

 

NUMBERED GATEFOLD SLEEVE:   G

The Top-Opening fully laminated Gatefold Sleeve is G, has tape to the spine and both bottom edges,

otherwise it's in quite OK shape general handling / wear commensurate with its age

4 PHOTOS:   EX+

The 4 Photos are EX+ apart from Ringo's which is Near EX to EX has a small crease

ORIGINAL "CENSORED" POSTER:   VG+

The fold-open Poster is the original "Censored" version & is VG+ with light handling, 
the nude photo of John talking on the phone has been partly obscured, & the nude photo of Paul around a pole has been removed entirely !,
 has NO pin holes or tape & has never been hung on a wall

 

2 BLACK INNER SLEEVES:  VG+

The 2 Black Inner Sleeves are Very Strong VG+, they have a small piece of tape on the 2 bottom seams otherwise are in really fine shape
