The Beatles "With the Beatles" 1st UK Mono Press Vinyl LP - Rare 'Jobete'
Publishing Credit, Misprinted "Gotta" Sleeve
Description:
During pressing it was noticed that credits & spelling on the labels and covers were incorrect. The track Money was given the incorrect Jobete credit and the track You Really Got A Hold on Me was misspelt on the cover and on the labels as 'Gotta'. These errors were only noticed after a quantity of 1N pressings had been made. The errors were soon corrected and the matrix numbers on the record almost immediately started to rise from 1N to 3N, 4N, 5N, 6N and finally ending with 7N, with which the majority of 1963 monos were pressed. Making the 1st misprinted label and sleeve 1N/1N pressings rare and sought after.

- 1st Labels: Black label with yellow logo and silver print. The Parlophone Co. Ltd printed at the start perimeter print and Recording first published 1963. Jobete publishing credit for Money (Side 2).
- 1st Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd front laminated cover, with large mono on front. With misspelled You Really Gotta Hold On Me credit on the back side.
- Jobete´s Publishing Credit: A rare anomaly on this 1st pressing. Misprinted "Gotta" Sleeve: A distinctive and collectible misprint.
- Stampers: 2 AA / 2 GG
- Tax Code: MKT, side 2
- Inner: Polythene-liner Use Emitex die-cut inner sleeve.

In good natural light and under focused halogen light the record shows superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. Nothing visible in daylight and only a few short hairlines visible under halogen spot.ight from sleeve-removal. Superb. EXCELLENT+!

A fantastic listening experience. Super-quiet lead-ins and between tracks. No crackle. No loud obtrusive pops, no repeats clicks, clearly no skips or sticks. Superb!
Sleeve Grade: EXCELLENT!
Glossy, clean front, no ring wear, a light bend mark in the top right corner. Fully readable spine without wear. Clean back without pen, marks, stains. No rips or splits. Excellent!
Inner: EXCELLENT
Original poly-lined Use Emitex die-cut inner sleeve, clean and without splits.
