Album Description/Condition:
First released on the 22nd November1963, this is the rarer **STEREO** version of The Beatles second UK Album release With The Beatles, on the BLACK and YELLOW Parlophone label.
Both record labels have the ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text, recording first published 1963, and printed ‘stereo’wording to both record labels.
This album is the very 1st Pressing, with the **JOBETE** publishing credit for the song Money, additionally the song You Really Got a Hold on Me is printed as You Really **Gotta** Hold on Me, this error is also printed on the track listing on the reverse of the sleeve.
Both record label are in superb Excellent Plus condition, very clean labels with no fading to the yellow and silver printed text, showing only a few light centre spindle lines .
The side 1 matrix is: YEX 110-2 and side 2: YEX 111-2.
Side 1 stampers: 4 AL and side 2: 2 AD
There is an embossed KT Tax code visible on the side one record label.
Side one of the heavy quality vinyl disc is in Near Mint condition, a beautiful vinyl surface with no surface marks or surface wear visible.
Side two of the heavy quality vinyl disc is in Excellent Plus condition, again a beautiful vinyl surface with no surface wear visible, showing only a couple of light surface hairlines.
Audio Quality:
The album plays superb throughout the tracks, a beautiful powerful clear early Stereo sound quality, with only mild background crackle.
The LP comes in its ORIGINAL ‘Use Emitex’ polythene lined Inner bag which is in Excellent condition, NO seam splits or handwriting, just some mild age toning, and light creasing.
…And is protected in it’s ORIGINAL Laminated Garrod &Lofthouse three flip back sleeve, with large 'STEREO’ printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
The sleeve is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, it is firm and strong with a very glossy front panel showing hardly any record indentation, all edges and corners are undamaged, all that is visible is a crease at the bottom left corner which is visible on the front and reverse (see scan), the reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean with the mildest of handling signs at the opening edge, all three flipbacks are undamaged, and the spine edge wording is clearly legible.
A superb example of this second UK Beatles Album in the rarer Stereo format an original FIRST PRESSING from 1963.
