Description

1968 UK PMC mono copy of The Beatles double White Album.

Gatefold sleeve with inner flaps and top opening.

Small mark (nail varnish?) on the front and a small nick at the top. Has the unique number and embossed ‘ The Beatles’ on a laminated finish.

This sprawling epic album generally plays well but with the following flaws:


Vinyl shows many scratch marks causing some crackle though is still listenable.

The most affected tracks are:-


Back in the USSR skips

Rocky Racoon sticks

Side 1/2 occasional crackle

Revolution 9 couple of clicks

Yer Blues/ Mother Natures Son little crackle

No poster/photos

Original black inner sleeves show some wear

‘Sold in the UK etc’ record labels are clean with a name on side 3


The mono version has several differences to the stereo recording.


Not perfect but still a valuable addition to your Beatles original collection.
