Beatles white album vintage vinyl. This album is from the original Los Angles allocation of 1968. The serial number is  A which is printed and 00348541, which is stamped. As I understand it, the A means stereo and L .A. All albums sent to the USA were stereo. England had the first printings in Mono. The album is in surprisingly good condition. There is some slight discoloration on the album jacket.The jacket is in really good shape with some slight wear on the corners.  The vinyl  records are very clean with just a few light scuffs & “hairlines”; these vinyls differ from other later ones I’ve seen in that the blank spaces between the tracks are barely visible or not visible at all- labels are EX..This one features the one error of “racoon” on side 2 label.. I believe that 2 of the many mistakes that were made in the pressing and printing are on these records. The hand etched scribes on each record are backwards. Side one says SWBO-1-101-J41 and side 2 says SWBO -2-101-J40. According to what I have read these are reversed. The J40 should be side 1 and J41 should be side 2. The same is true on sides 3 and 4.  The original paper sleeve protectors that the albums are in have browned somewhat with age but are still in good shape with slight wear on the edges. The original poster has some old tape holding parts of it together and the folds are partly splitting..The back of the poster, which has the lyrics, has browned a little. The four photos of the Beatles are in great condition but also have tome tape residue on the corners where they were taped up to someone’s wall. The back of the album jacket has the word stereo printed in the upper right hand corner. There is some partial splitting of the pages at the top edges only as seen in the last pic- All in all, this is a solid example of this great iconic record- If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
