1969 UK EARLY 2nd *STEREO* PRESSING
**NEAR MINT**
This NEAR MINT early 2nd stereo pressing on the dark green Apple labels: PCS 7067 & PCS 7068
All labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but include the 'An EMI Recording' statement.
George & Ringo's compositions retain the 'Apple Publishing' credits - later changed to 'Harrisongs' & 'Startling M. Ltd.' respectively
Housed in a fully laminated, side-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover without a stereo logo on the rear but individually numbered: No. 159439
Complete with white 'Apple copyright wording' inner-sleeves, matt UK 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed poster & four colour portrait photos.
Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
Stamper numbers: 1/HA, 4/TP, 2/RDR, 7/GHA
Disc weights: 1.145g 2.149g
A beautiful & vibrant set with just two or three light spidle trails around each centre hole but no other signs of wear whatsoever.
Visual: NEAR MINT
All surfaces are immaculate and pristine in daylight with just a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no scuffs, marks or scratches anywhere and all lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Both discs have been played no more than three or four times and sound 'as new' on all sides with no audible wear on any track or any channel.
You will be hard pushed to find a better sounding copy of this release.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A spotless, pristine white example with a totally undamaged laminate all-round.
There is a light bend to the upper right corner but all opening edges are perfectly clean, razor-sharp & unworn.
Inside is also clean and bright with just a few small wrinkles to the upper-right edge, but it is unlikely it has been ever opened fully.
All seams are strong and undamaged and the spine is fully laminated with perfectly clean & clear wording.
Photos: MINT Poster: MINT
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
Clean & white with just a tiny spot on the left one but no tears, seam splits or missing paper.
