Description

This item is a first press double album released on Apple Records in 1968 by The Beatles commonly known as ‘The White Album’. Record label and number is Apple Records SWBO-101. This particular first press copy of the White Album features misspellings on the record labels that were soon corrected once realized. For instance ‘The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill‘ is listed as ‘Bungalow Bill’. ‘Rocky Raccoon‘ is misspelled as ‘Rocky Racoon’. ‘Revolution 1‘ is listed as ‘Revolution No. 1‘ (same with ‘Revolution 9”) and ‘Good Night is listed as ‘Goodnight’ (see photos). Records themselves are in strong VG+ to Side 4 being EX. Sides 1,2, & 3 have a few light hairline scuffs that can be seen under a strong light and that do not effect play. Record labels show little if any spindle wear. Numbered (A1392085) gatefold cover is in excellent condition with just some light wear. Cover is actually lighter / whiter than photos show. Album comes complete with its original four photos (with ‘Printed In USA‘ on them at the bottom left corner) and its original 34 inch by 23 inch poster photo / lyric (with c Apple Records print). Photos and poster are in excellent condition (see photos). See photos for song listings. A very nice genuine first pressing of this great, classic Beatles album. Album is in great condition considering its almost 47 years old. Probably one of the nicest first pressings of this album that I’ve ever seen and if it doesn’t sell I’m keeping it. A great addition to your Beatles collection. Money back if not satisfied. Feel free to e mail with any questions. Payment is expected within ten business days. I combine shipping rates on multiple purchases. Records are shipped in cardboard mailers and are well packed. Overseas postage is $18.00  Postage to Canada is $12.00 Good luck with your bids.
