The Beatles - White Album stereo vinyl double LP 1968 edition
PCS7067 and PCS7068 on green Apple label with "Parlophone" style text and numbering
Mint Photos (x4) of individual Beatles and Near-Mint Poster
I am selling my entire collection of vinyl LPs mostly bought (by me) in the 60s and many on or very shortly after the day of issue - I have included purchase information on a "best recollection" basis! This is a private collection - I am not a dealer. I have attempted to describe accurately the record and its condition but as I'm not that well informed about the nuances of stampers, matrices and tax codes, please feel free to ask questions.
These records were only ever played on a good quality deck using lightly weighted Shure diamond stylus cartridges thus although many were well-played, play wear has been minimised.
Because I am aware that "condition is everything" I have tried to err on the side of caution in fully describing marks, scratches, etc. I have a 100% feedback record which I want to retain so I'm happy to offer a full money-back guarantee on all records sold at more than £10 if I have not accurately described the condition, although you would need to pay the return postage. I have bought special mailing envelopes (with stiffeners) to ensure that the records arrive in good condition. Please do read the "and finally Cyril" section at the bottom before bidding!

All labels in good condition with very slight spindle marks on both sides and little hole scuffing (minor marks on sides 2 and 3). Sides 1 and 3 have small marks 1cm out from the spindle around the slight change of level.

Cover Information: Opening format, records slot in from the top, laminated both sides in generally excellent physical condition (no tears or splits). "The Beatles" stamped on the front, gold numbered 0357837 with "stereo" printed top right on the back
Front & Back Outer and Lamination: Lamination is still in good condition front and back with only the slightest separation around a small dent on the front near the spine. Virtually uncreased - one 1cm crease on the right front which is inconspicuous from most angles. Overall it is rather dirty and has yellowed very slightly. There is an obvious outline of where the records sit in the sleeve and some other miscellaneous dark marks (just visible in the photo) at the bottom on the front and top at the back. Because the sleeve is white, the marks are of course more noticeable but considering its age, I think this sleeve is in excellent condition!
Inside: In remarkably good shape and clean with no obvious marks. A few small creases down the left fold-over flap. The hinge is in very good condition.
Top Edge: Very slight feathering wear only - no tears or scratches.
Bottom Edge: Unworn except for one tiny dent and some scuff marks right front.
Outer Edges: Unworn.
Spine and Text: Good physical condition though the lamination has split in a couple of places down the middle of the wide spine where the sleeve hinges and for about 3cm up from the bottom on the back resulting in locally increased dirt. The spine is better than it looks in the photo where it is in shadow.
Corners: Slight scuff wear on all corners.
Inserts: Individual pictures of the Beatles are absolutely mint. Poster is near-mint - the only problem being very light irregular creasing bottom left on the back.
The Inner Sleeves: Original black inners, clean and in generally good condition with only slight creasing. One has a 5mm tear at the top and on the other the fold-over flap down the left side has a couple of small tears plus there is a small tear at the bottom of the centre cut-out. Otherwise they are complete with no splits.
Vinyl Condition: Side 1 has some spot-marks and one light non-sounding scratch. Side 2 has a couple of very short non-sounding scratches. Side 3 has a couple of longer scratches, one of which looks quite deep, the other shallow but neither are sounding. Side 4 has 3 quite long but very light scuff/scratch marks - non-sounding. I have played this record and it plays well.
And finally, Cyril:
Please do check out the payment instructions. Good eBayers pay (or at least contact) quickly and I expect payment (or contact) within 3 days of the end of the auction. If you expect to be away or out of contact for longer, please e-mail me when bidding. You will see from my feedback that I send off items really quickly and late payers are a pain as they cause me to have to make multiple trips to the Post Office. A non-payer report will be filed if you have not made contact within 7 days and I may sell to another bidder.
Quick payers receive excellent feedback! You get feedback on payment - I don't wait until you provide feedback on me like some sellers. So please play fair and leave positive feedback for me as soon as the item arrives (ALWAYS contact me first if there is a problem, we CAN sort it out!).
Please e-mail me if you haven't received the item within 7 days UK or 14 days worldwide of a Paypal payment (if you are paying by another means I will e-mail you on receipt of payment so take that as the start date adding 7 days if you pay by cheque as this needs to clear first).
As for insurance, I can provide this on request (ignore where it says "insurance not offered" - eBay's system is not flexible enough to allow me to describe the options). Up to £30 is covered automatically within UK by First Class and Recorded Delivery. I can offer Next Day Special Delivery (UK only) providing £250 of cover for £6.50 (total) or for non-UK buyers International Signed For covers up to £500 for £5 EXTRA (on top of postage rates quoted). Please note that I cannot be held responsible for post-related loss above £30 if you do not opt for the insurance cover.
