Beatles: White Album (Apple UK 1st Press Stereo DLP + Black Inners -1/-1/-1/-1

This is a UK original Stereo Double LP pressing. It has a fully laminated, Top Opening, gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks at both side edges. The lettering is embossed on the front & it is numbered (No: 0363483) on the front also. There is a small printed "Stereo" on the rear sleeve. It comes with its original plain black paper "Apple" inner sleeves. Unfortunately, the fold-out Picture/ Lyric Poster is missing. All four Portrait Photos are missing too.

The records have dark green "Apple" labels which have the "Sold in UK..." text on all 4 labels. The matrix numbers & mother stampers are as follows:

Side 1: YEX 709-1 (PD 1)
Side 2: YEX 710-1 (HT 4)
   Side 3: YEX 711-1 (GAR 2)
    Side 4: YEX 712-1 (GAD 2)

A genuine UK 1st press double Stereo LP. It has the earliest matrix numbers.


Gatefold Sleeve: There is light, very mild or very minor overall fading to the "white" of the sleeve. This is slightly more noticeable around the edges of the sleeve. There are 3 of 4 small marks/ stains on the spine. There is mild, very mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the spine on some areas. There is some laminate peeling on the spine on some areas too. There is mild or very mild rubbing wear on the corner tips. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the top opening edges on some areas. There is light, mild or very mild ringwear. Mainly on the rear sleeve. A strong Very Good condition

Vinyl 1: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There is one long 10 cm hairline surface mark across Side 1. This is quite light. There are two very small hairline surface rub marks on Side 2. These measure between 2 or 3 cm in length. The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. A strong Very Good condition. There is a small sticker tear on Side 1's label (see photo). Otherwise, mild spindle wear. The plain black "Apple" company inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good overall, & Very Good+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only noticeable in the quietest places. It never overpowers the music. There are no noticeable clicks or pops.  

Vinyl 2: There are mild, more moderate to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 3 light hairline surface marks on Side 3. The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or more moderate dull surface marks on some areas. Good condition. The labels are in Good+ condition. They show light, mild or more moderate foxing. There is mild to more moderate spindle wear too. The plain black "Apple" company inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is a 15 cm seam split along one edge.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good overall, & Very Good+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only noticeable in the quietest places. It never overpowers the music. There is a mild clicks on the track "Long, Long, Long" on Side 3.   

I shall place both records in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the original inner sleeves from any damage during transit.
