The Beatles - White Album
(Apple PMC 7067/8 UK Double LP 1968)
This is a UK original Mono Double LP pressing. It has a top-opening fully laminated gatefold sleeve. This has inner flipbacks. It has an embossed "The Beatles" on the front & is numbered No: 0165059.
It comes with its original plain black company inner sleeves. It also comes with the giant fold-out lyric/ picture poster. Sadly the portrait photos are missing.
The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have dark green Apple labels. All four labels have the "Sold in UK..." texts on them. The matrix numbers (followed by mother stampers) are as follows:
Side 1: XEX 709-1 (MO 3)
Side 2: XEX 710-1 (MT 3)
Side 3: XEX 711-1 (RL 2)
Side 4: XEX 712-1 (TO 4)
A genuine UK 1st Mono pressing. In very respectable condition overall.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is a 2 cm tear on the back panel at the top sleeve opening, & a much smaller 5 mm tear also. Otherwise light wear only. VG condition.
Vinyl 1: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent. There is some very light crackle in a few quieter places. The plain black inner is in very near excellent condition. There are no seam splits.
Vinyl 2: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a two small, & light, hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent. There is some very light crackle in a few quieter places. The plain black inner is in VG+ condition. There are no seam splits, but there is a small tear at the opening.
The poster is barely used & in excellent+ condition. I shall place the records in a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original black inners during shipping.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
