Description
The Beatles - White Album
(Apple PCS 7067/8 UK Double LP 1968)
This is an early UK double LP pressing, circa 1970. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve, which in numbered on the front (No: 135202), & has the record opening at the side. It comes with its original Apple inner sleeves - which are in very nice condition. It also comes with all four portrait photos & giant fold-out poster. The poster is printed on glossy paper.
The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are HO 1, GOH 7, GHR 1 & GHO 5 respectively.
Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild wear only. VG++ condition.
Vinyl 1: Light sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light, and a couple of light hairline marks. There are also some light pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. With only light crackle in some of the quieter places.
Vinyl 2: Light sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light. There are also some light pressing marks too. VG++ condition. There is a slight mark on Side 3's label. Otherwise the labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. With only very light crackle in some of the quieter places. The poster has a crease down the middle. Otherwise in very nice condition. The portrait photos are unused & in excellent+ condition.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
