The Beatles white album limited edition white vinyl 1978 USA reissue of legendary 1968 double LP on Capitol Records SEBX-11841. What makes this example very special is some brown streaking in the white vinyl on both records. This would have been from the very beginning of the pressing when there were still a few black vinyl pellets in the pressing machine hopper. Any copies with significant streaking would have been removed by quality control so only copies with whisps of non-white coloring like this would have made it to market. This likely affected less than 1% of the pressing. Checking popsike and I can only find 2 previous copies that have been sold on eBay in 2020 and 2021. This copy is complete with all four photos and the large fold-out poster and even the hard to find hype sticker which was cut out of the original shrink wrap and is included as an insert. Very hard-to-find item for the serious Beatles completist.
The records are both VG+, fully glossy showing just a few light scuffs / minor marks. Gatefold cover is conservatively VG, mostly due to wear at the right side opening, including a very tiny tear on the back. There's also a small price sticker stain at top right, and also a scratch or minor razor blade mark also at top right. Photos show only minor edge wear. Poster also shows only minor wear. No pin holes and no other significant problems. The hype sticker cut from the shrink wrap shows no condition issues. Please see all pics for best visual description of the condition.
I have been dealing in records for 25+ years. All records are sent in new Bags Unlimited brand mailers, properly packed with the vinyl outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit.
